My background in photography began in 1998 while I was reflecting on the many special occasions of my life. I suddenly realized that because I had never found the time to take portraits and did not routinely carry a camera to record special events with friends, family members and loved ones, I had failed to capture many of my life experiences. With the realization that I had missed recording so many moments in my life, I dove into the world of photography, more for myself than anyone else. The brain is a wonderful and powerful part of the human body, but memories fades, people change, and tragic events happen in everyone's life. One of my missions in life has now become helping others do something I failed at earlier in life– to “Develop the Moment” for all special occasions.
Of course, I certainly enjoy the additional income, but in reality, I have spent ten times the amount of money purchasing my equipment than I have made with this skill. “Profit” is a long way off in regards to monetary gains, but I feel the real gain is in turning those moments into tangible occasions you can look at for years to come.
